A leading global private equity firm is seeking an experienced and highly organized paralegal / legal assistant to join its legal & compliance team in Greenwich, CT. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate AML/KYC collection of information and clearance for new and existing investors with Fund administrators.
  • Assist in reviewing and processing subscription documents and investor certifications.
  • Serve as a point of contact for investor documentation inquiries.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, fund administrators and legal, compliance and finance teams on subscription documents and closings.
  • Communicate with investors on open points.
  • Support the drafting, review, execution, and tracking of transfer agreements and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of legal documents, amendments, consents, and signature pages.
  • Maintain and update structure charts.
  • Organize and maintain shared legal and compliance filing systems (digital and physical).
  • Track workflow timelines and ensure follow-ups are completed promptly.
  • Support compliance tasks such as maintaining policy records, preparing materials for regulatory reviews, and assisting with internal audits.
  • Assist with preparation of meeting materials and, when needed, meeting minutes.
  • Collaborate with internal Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure seamless documentation management and information flow.
  • Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, outside counsel, and investors.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal, preferably supporting in-house legal or compliance teams.
  • Hands-on experience with investor documentation, including AML/KYC and subscription materials.
  • Strong organizational discipline; capable of managing multiple workflow streams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail; demonstrates accuracy and follow-through.
  • Comfort working on-site four days per week.
  • Willingness to learn.

Compensation Expectations: $150K+ base salary + competitive all-in package
