A leading private equity firm with more than $5B in assets under management is seeking a Compliance Analyst or Associate to join its team in New York City in a #2 capacity. Responsibilites:
- Support compliance program administration, including Code of Ethics monitoring and quarterly certifications.
- Assist with regulatory filings and maintain compliance records.
- Participate in testing, mock exams, and other internal reviews to assess controls and readiness.
- Research new regulatory developments and implement resulting compliance requirements.
- Review and organize contracts and related legal documentation.
- Partner across investment, legal, and operations teams to uphold firm standards.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and best-practice enhancements as the firm scales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; legal, compliance, or paralegal background preferred.
- 1–5 years of compliance or legal experience in private equity, private markets, or broader financial services.
- Prior exposure to compliance frameworks, policies, or regulatory filings.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation Expectations: $100-135K base; $125-160K all-in (some flexibility for an ideal candidate)
