Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize contracts, legal records, and supporting documentation across the firm’s legal and contract management systems.
- Review, revise, and redline routine agreements, including NDAs and related documentation, escalating matters and coordinating with outside counsel when appropriate.
- Manage the legal intake process, ensuring requests, contracts, and related documentation are appropriately routed, tracked, and advanced through completion.
- Manage execution workflows for routine agreements and support the broader administration of contracts throughout the process.
- Work closely with the hiring manager to enhance contract workflows, streamline processes, and implement technology-driven efficiencies.
- Support legal reporting, process documentation, contract data management, and ongoing data integrity initiatives.
- Provide operational and project-based support to the legal team and assist with additional contract administration needs as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2-5 years of experience in contract management, contract administration, paralegal, or legal operations capacity.
- Private equity experience required. Strictly law firm experience welcome with exposure to private funds.
- Experience managing contracts and related documentation through various stages of the contract lifecycle, including intake, review, execution, organization, and ongoing maintenance.
- Familiarity with contract management systems, legal technology platforms, contract repositories, or document management systems preferred.
- Experience reviewing, revising, and redlining routine agreements, including NDAs and similar commercial agreements, preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate contract records and data.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of contract-related processes, manage follow-up, and drive matters through completion.
- Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple contracts, requests, and workflows simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, legal team members, and outside counsel.
- Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and remain highly responsive in a fully remote environment.
Compensation: $85-110K base; $100-125K all-in
