Our client, a leading global private equity firm with over $15B in AUM is seeking a highly organized Legal Associate to join its legal & compliance team in New York. This is an opportunity to take ownership of core legal entity management and compliance processes within a collaborative, well-established team. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist with entity management processes, including formations, dissolutions, regulatory filings, and recordkeeping.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all legal entities and oversee the entity management system to ensure data accuracy.
- Support onboarding of new entities and funds, including KYC processes and account openings.
- Draft, edit, and manage recurring vendor and confidentiality agreements.
- Provide operational and project management support to the Legal & Compliance team, including Compliance tracking and system updates.
- Partner directly with the Legal & Compliance team, including the GC and DGC, on special projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of paralegal experience, ideally including 1–2 years in an asset management environment but is not required
- Proven experience managing legal entities and familiarity with entity management software systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders.
- Highly organized and proactive, with a hands-on approach and strong project management capability.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
Compensation Expectations: $105K–$130K base; $125-160k all-in
