Investor Relations Associate (New York, NY): Our client an established asset manager with over $12B in AUM, is eager to hire a savvy investor relations professional to join their team. This hire will be working closely with the Head of Investor Relations fostering relationships both internally and externally.

  • Maintain and build relationships with buy- and sell-side research associates, as well as buy- and sell-side investors and analysts; create financial models and other data-intensive projects for ad-hoc requests
  • Monitor developments within the investment banking peer group and share analyses to senior executives; develop and execute critical materials for the quarterly earnings release process (call Q&A prep, press release, presentation)
  • Coordinate with various internal groups (Finance, Legal and Compliance, Advisory practice areas) to create internal and external presentations for management; monitor sell-side research analyst coverage of and earnings estimates for the firm while tracking consensus estimates
  • Assist with responding to investor inquiries; maintain/update external investor relations website content


  • 2+ years of experience in a similar capacity within the financial services space (asset management, investment banking, sell-side research); bachelors degree ideally with a concentration in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; working knowledge of stock surveillance and market data tools like Bloomberg, First Call and FactSet a plus 
  • Fundamental knowledge of the earnings release and SEC disclosure processes preferred but not required; familiarity with the investment banking industry also a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and an ability to effectively multi-task; must have a professional demeanor and comfortable handling sensitive information
