Client Operations Analyst, Private Equity (New York, NY): Our client, a multibillion dollar investment advisor, is seeking a talented individual with private equity or private credit knowledge/experience to join their expanding team.  This is a newly created position open due to the growth of the business!

  • Firm is thriving and entering a number of new markets; this new role falls under one of the newer markets allowing this person to be one of the first in the group focused on these new investments

  • Review monthly closing packages for accuracy (capital activity, investment activity, valuation adjustments, income and expense accruals); track cash flows for capital calls, distributions and return of capital
  • Liaise with investment managers, prime brokers and third-party administrators; assist with middle and back office operations and account services
  • Review investor allocations, capital account statements and management fee calculations (management fee waiver contributions, off-setable amounts); prepare notes disclosures financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Update the firm’s portfolio system, performances estimates and final values; review capital account statements and investor allocations
  • Create, maintain and review distribution waterfall models; manage the year-end audit process while collaborating with clients, service providers and auditors
  • Record transactions to the investment management system; support the external tax team with information relating to tax preparation and compliance reports, as needed


  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or operations within a fund manager, investment bank or fund administrator with exposure to private equity or private credit products
  • Bachelors degree with a strong academic record (GPA of 3.2 or higher)
  • CPA preferred but not required; excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Excel with strong written and communication skills; must be a team player with a positive attitude
