Investor Relations Associate, Stamford, CT

Investor Relations Associate (Stamford, CT): Our client, a successful Private Equity firm with over $1 billion in AUM, is looking to bring on a junior Investor Relations professional to join a lean and growing team. The candidate of choice will be involved in all aspects of the non-operational client service and fundraising efforts of the firm, working directly with the firm’s Director of Investor Relations, Managing Directors, and CEO.

  • Nothing is off limits; new hire will cover all areas of investor relations and marketing 

 Responsibilities:

  • Create marketing/performance materials; maintain and prepare investor profiles and prep information for client meetings
  • Assist in preparing and distributing materials for new and existing investors (pitch books, RFPS and due diligence questionnaires); coordinate investment and operational due diligence meetings 
  • Collaborate with the Director of IR and upper management on investor relations and prospecting strategy; maintain client and prospect profiles and track investor news/RFPs
  • Build and maintain tracking tools related to fundraising and the firm’s outreach efforts with current/prospective clients; respond to ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly investor requests
  • Project manage all aspects of meeting prep (including: background information, materials, strategy and creation of agendas); project manage any investor events
  • Assist in investor and prospect outreach, as well as calls and meetings; overtime, this new hire will have the opportunity to take on some outreach efforts independently)

 Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of related experience preferred; bachelors degree, ideally from a reputable school
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; outstanding process and project management skills 
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills; must be a self-starter capable of thriving in a lean environment
  • Understanding of markets particularly Private Equity as it relates to investor relations; strong PowerPoint and excel-linked visuals skills strongly preferred
