Junior Recruiter (New York, NY): Our client, a successful investment manager based in Midtown NYC, has a new opening for a junior recruiter.  The new hire will be part of a critical hire for an exceptional team within a firm that boasts high retention and strong work ethic.  This new hire will work directly for the Head of Human Resources and mainly handle recruiting efforts but overtime gain more generalist HR skills.

  • Collaborate with business heads and hiring managers to identify the needs of their teams
  • Develop or edit job descriptions to accurately portray the responsibilities and requirements for roles
  • Identify potential candidates through job posting applicants, LinkedIn searches, and other recruiting tools
  • Coordinate all interviews with Head of HR and hiring managers
  • Conduct initial phone screens with prospective candidates
  • Compile information from compensation surveys to identify the appropriate compensation ranges for various positions
  • Form relationships with colleges and universities for campus recruiting purposes


  • 1-2 years of prior recruiting experience (in-house or agency) is required
  • Positive attitude and a “no task too small” mentality is imperative
  • Ability to multitask, strong sense of professionalism, and pride in one’s work necessary
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Office and sense of urgency required
  • Strong interest in HR necessary
