Team Coordinator (New York, NY): Our client, a successful and long-standing $2B hedge fund, is looking to bring on a driven, self-motivated Team Coordinator to join their firm.  This person will support a team of 9 investment and research professionals, specifically identifying important investor meetings that support the portfolio’s research mission.  This is an exceptional opportunity for a well-rounded professional to join a dynamic team environment where multi-tasking is huge!


Key Points:

·         This person will have exposure to all aspects of the portfolio and will be able to build-out their credentials through sitting in on investment meetings daily

·         Individual can make a deep impact on the team’s success through thorough and detailed support of their efforts


·         Identify company events and important investor conferences relevant to the portfolio as it relates to deals; coordinate daily shareholder/analyst calls and domestic/International travel logistics

·         Generate daily equities & shareholder research for Portfolio Manager using research platforms such as (Bloomberg, 10-K Wizard, Reuters); organize meeting schedules, Outlook calendars and event record-keeping

·         Build strong relationships across all departments (Compliance, Investor Relations, Operations) and stay up-to-date with upcoming global events and conferences; effectively address team objectives and facilitate the day-to-day operations of the fund

·         Maintain team databases, monthly investor meeting data and shareholder materials; operate as the desk’s “point person” for all office coordination (order supplies, coordinate group lunches, liaison for back office invoice processing, billing) 


·         Exceptional communication, organizational and project management skills

·         Strong aptitude for building and maintaining relationships within a fast-paced and diverse company culture

·         Strong attention to detail, acute ability to anticipate needs before they arise and address them appropriately; financial background is a plus

·         Excellent work ethic, great sense of humor and a can-do attitude; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
