Senior Client Relationship Associate, New York, NY

Senior Client Relationship Associate (New York, NY): Our client, a global asset manager with over $20B in AUM, is seeking a marketing communications professional to join their growing team.  This new hire will support the firm’s sales and consultant service efforts in a collaborative and supportive team.

 Responsibilities:

·       Assisting the salesperson with meeting preparations, prep notes and competitive analysis, as well as follow up requests; create prospecting supporting analysis with the aid of various databases sources (FinSearches and MandateWire)

·       Take on and manage ad hoc projects to improve team resources; support the RFP (request for proposal) and make suggestions to improve content and overall proposal responses

·       Assist with the creation and review of presentation materials; attend investment meetings for career development and consultant and industry webinars/events; coordinate with team members for quarterly distribution of marketing materials

·       Over time, become more active in running meetings as well as aid in prospecting and/or consultant relations activities and coverage; compile analytical analysis, working with various groups across the firm

 Qualifications:

·       Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in relevant investment management experience within asset management/buy-side experience; excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

·       Broad understanding of the financial markets and investment strategies; exceptional computer skills (MS PowerPoint and MS Excel)

·       Attention to detail and accuracy; Bachelor's degree required, with a strong undergraduate record

·       Experience with CRM systems, knowledge of Satuit a plus; Entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of initiative
