Investor Relations Analyst, New York, NY

Analyst, Investor Relations (New York, NY): Our client, a private equity asset manager with over $35 billion AUM, is seeking an Analyst to join their growing Business Development and Investor Relations team in a two-year rotational program.  The firm serves as a private equity multi-manager advisor for an investment firm that specializes in direct and fund of fund investments.   This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a strong interest in marketing to join a firm that will help them develop their skill set within this area and allow them to obtain brand name recognition on his/her resume. 

 

Key points:

  • After completing the rotational program, the Analyst will receive senior-level support to pursue graduate studies or other professional opportunities which include placement in the firm’s Investor Relations team.  
  • The firm just completed two large fund raises and is on the brink of another offering this individual exposure to the process of fund raising and onboarding new investors

Responsibilities:

  • Participate and support senior professionals in preparing investor knowledge workshops, annual investor meetings, investor advisory committees and quarterly investor updates
  • Manage projects on product offerings including prospect tracking, data room management and roadshow planning; prepare due diligence responses and meeting agendas
  • Support senior professionals on business development efforts across the global platform with a focus on the Americas (this includes existing investor and prospective client presentations, as well as industry research and new product development) 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience at an investment bank, private equity, asset manager or consultancy firm; undergraduate required with a GPA of 3.5 or higher with a concentration in finance, business, accounting or mathematics
  • Exposure to a wide range of transactions, industry studies and due diligence assignments; and exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Strong team player with the ability to interact at all levels of the firm including senior management;
  • Strong interest in joining a global, multi-function team; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; and knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
