Client Services Representative (New York, NY): Our client, a global asset manager with over $20B in AUM, is seeking a Client Service Representative to join their dynamic, loyal, and lean team.  This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a craving to learn and develop professionally to join an intimate team and ultimately support their Relationship Managers.  This role will focus on supporting a Relationship Manager’s efforts, collaborating with various teams in the firm including Portfolio Management, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Trading.  The CSR will be responsible for preparing third-party correspondence including performance reports, quarterly questionnaires and audit responses; preparing Relationship Manager and key information for their client meetings; working with the other team members to ensure the full range of client portfolio needs are met; assuring account start-up and integration are completed seamlessly; and addressing relationship issues promptly.  They CSR will also be responsible for updating and maintaining a data collection system for reporting investor level performance data to consultants; organizing and maintaining client data in a CRM; auditing existing client account information and documentation; facilitating annual regulatory mailings for the firm’s client base and serving as back-up for client service team member when necessary to ensure the needs of clients are met.  The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of financial experience, preferably within client service, operations, investment manager research or consulting; and an interest in obtaining an MBA or a CFA designation is desired.  The individual must have a proven ability to exercise sound judgement, independent problem solving and extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.  This new hire should also had a desire to develop within the client services realm and be comfortable working with, speaking to, and interfacing with all levels of management internally and externally.  This is also a great opportunity for an individual seeking to develop presentation skills, possesses strong organizational and communications skills.  A Bachelor’s degree required.
