Manager, Investor Services (New York, NY): Our client, an alternative asset manager with over $3 billion in AUM, is seeking an Investor Services Manager to join their Investor Relations team.  This is a replacement position for an individual who moved abroad; the team has decided to upgrade the role and have this new hire manage a junior level Coordinator on the team.  This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quarterly and annual reporting requirements of the firm’s multi-manager real estate platform.  The Manager of Investor Services will report to the VP of Investor Relations and will work closely with the heads of Investor Relations, Portfolio Management & Analytics, as well as other team functions to meet all client needs.  The Manager will supervise one junior team member and the anticipation is that this person will supervise a growing team over time. Duties for this role include, managing all investor reporting processes; developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external contacts; and collaborating with various teams to communicate relevant portfolio level investment activities including projected performance and cash flow requirements.  S/he will also be expected to: train and supervise an Analyst/Coordinator while overseeing and reviewing this person’s work product; execute capital call and distribution notices to Limited Partners; ensure client requests are promptly and accurately addressed; and responsible for the investor CRM systems.  This is a high profile position working with internal teams as well as external investors so the ideal candidate must have an extremely professional demeanor, maturity, and ability to articulate ideas clearly.  Additionally, s/he must have a minimum of 6+ years in a similar setting with Investor Services/ Fund Operations experience; private equity experience is required.  Finally, they will possess strong analytical and communications skills with the ability to organize, coordinate and manage various parties.  This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge within the industry with a vibrant, young, and collaborative culture.  Minimum of 3.5 GPA preferred.
