Jr HR Business Partner (New York, NY)Our client a $12 billion AUM asset manager is seeking a Jr. HR Business Partner to join their global HR team, reporting directly to the Senior Generalist. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to further their experience in HR and jump right into a fast-pace nature with the chance to take on new ownership in HR processes. S/he will be expected to coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring manager and team then solicit feedback; conduct interviews for Admin and junior hires; post job descriptions and review resumes on the Firm’s ATS and manage select employee relations issues. This candidate will also review performance appraisals; respond to employee inquires and interpret Firm policies; work closely with immigration attorneys and process visas for US population; liaise with new hires during on-boarding orientations and be the initial point of contact for all US employee benefits inquiries. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as within a team. They must have 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in financial services; have strong written and oral as well as listening skills; meticulous attention to detail and excellent judgment with highly confidential information and strong Microsoft Office skills. This role will have great exposure to multiple teams across the Firm, working closely with corporate businesses, talent management and HR Operations.
